Sam's Take on Full Circle Health and Fitness

Hello, dear readers! Welcome to our joint venture with my friend Sally, where we will share the latest insights on topics about health and fitness. Having a background in Engineering and filled with curiosity to explore life on the side of the spectrum, I found myself leaping toward writing life, and finding Sally as my mentor has been a fulfilling experience. Now, I am taking a joint venture to share a column on health and fitness, exploring the topic from the perspective of a young adult in his mid-twenties versus a middle-aged woman in her 50s, quite a different perspective, but that makes it more interesting. Can’t get any better!

1.     Passion for fitness

From my teenage days to my current state as a young adult, fitness has always been part of my life, and there is no sign of stopping anytime soon. Despite the teeming and clanking gym atmosphere, I found solace and strength in it. I have understood the importance of adapting my fitness routine to our ever-changing bodies by increasing the intensity of my workouts and finding a purpose as I strive to maintain physical health while exploring new aspects of holistic well-being.

2.     Different modalities of fitness

My approach to fitness seems rigorous – maybe an accurate description of slavery’s approach to fitness – compared to my friend Sally’s serene strolls, but our different perspective is leading us to a common destination of healthy well-being. In reality, most things are simpler than they seem because we can take different forms in the pursuit of fitness, and it’s important to find one that resonates with you well. Whether it is through calm yoga or high-intensity workout sessions to achieve a healthier, happier life, what matters most is that you have already set foot on the path.

3.     Mental resilience

The importance of our mental well-being cannot be overstated in the midst of the whirlwind of today’s fast-paced world. It makes the cornerstone of our overall well-being and not just a trend. Sally, with the great experience she comes with, she teaches me about the ups and downs of life’s journey, I can attest to the challenge of balancing between personal growth, social life, and work. Building mental resilience has been part of my routine, which is integral in helping me keep my motivation and focus levels up in all aspects of life.

In Full Circle Health and Fitness, we embody the idea that life is a dynamic journey, and our paths keep continually evolving. It’s all about embracing the diverse experiences of different life stages. While I acknowledge my pal Sally and I may have different approaches to health and fitness, our shared vision remains that we’re both on a mission to achieve healthier, more vibrant lives. So, as we set out on this exciting journey, we welcome you to be part of the journey. Let’s keep this conversation going!

Best,

Sam.
